J. Crew Collection - a Mobolaji Film

So I go to USC, but I'm home in Portland for summer and as the way things go in summer, I've had to find creative ways to occupy my time.

Well even though it's not my major, I really like films and fashion and all that good stuff. So sometimes I like to make mock 'promo' videos for companies I like using my friends. Two weeks ago I made a mock one for Urban Outfitters which people seemed to like, but I always try to switch up the style from time to time and decided to go for something a little bit more classic, and made this J Crew video yesterday with my friend Hanna. Just me, my camera, the city and Hanna.

The whole look for this video was inspired by Woody Allen's "Manhattan" and Blake Edwards' "Breakfast at Tiffany's"

Shot this an evening, and edited it that night. We just walked around Portland getting shots of different things for a couple hours. Completely relaxed and no budget whatsoever, but I'm happy with the end result. You don't always need huge production houses sometimes
